This two-volume set shares the impact of Greek life on Noguchi’s art, and the transformative identity he formed from immersing himself with many cultures, different practitioners and a variety of mediums.Letters, photographs, sketches and some never before seen notes from the artist himself uncover the cherished connection Noguchi had with Greece.

New writings explore the Japanese American interdisciplinarian’s creative community, including futurist Buckminster Fuller and choreographer Martha Graham; while modern visual essays communicate Noguchi’s strong legacy throughout today’s design and art forms.Noguchi and Greece, Greece and Noguchi is an extension of a research and exhibition project initiated by OoCI with the Noguchi Museum in New York.
